Bush Clinton Katrina Relief Fund
One of the costliest and deadliest storms in U.S. history, Hurricane Katrina significantly impacted the Gulf Coasts of Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi with devastating effects on New Orleans. Recognizing the immense need, former Presidents Bush and Clinton led a bi-partisan fundraising effort to help the victims, ultimately raising $130 million from 100,000 donors worldwide. Gathering information from across the spectrum of grantees, people affected, and those who delivered relief, we constructed the Bush Clinton Katrina Fund report to document and tell the story of both the immediate and long-term solutions supported by the Fund.
