[Post] Our Holiday 2021 Wish for You: Learning to Ask for Everything!

Do you ever stop yourself from sharing your joy because you think it might jinx you? When you anticipate the future, are you limiting what’s possible because of what you think you deserve? Is there something you’re denying yourself because you don’t think you’ve earned it?

Now notice that every sentence above this one has “think” in it.

Thoughts are powerful manifestations. During the pandemic, we’ve been meditating in earnest. We’re reminded that mindfulness is about learning to notice what you’re thinking. Thoughts control your actions unconsciously.

The year 2020 was characterized by fear, stress, and anxiety, all relating to whether we could survive, let alone thrive. But it’s a new year, and we all need a new mindset. We need to train ourselves to recognize and pursue new possibilities.

When you ask for everything, you start exploring and expanding the possibilities beyond the scope of your limitations and imagination. It takes bravery to ask for things when they don’t seem within reach.

Don’t be afraid to name your goals. Don’t limit yourself to reacting to what’s offered. Take the initiative to move beyond. This is a time for collaboration, win-win situations, and inventing a better shared future.

We can’t guarantee you’ll get everything you ask for. But we’re calling on you to do just that. Ask for everything. Think big.
